Stir Fried Sprout Mung


Start your day with Stir fried mung . Mung is very healthy option for breakfast .  Sprouted mung is rich in nutrients , high source of proteins. Here is my easy and simple recipe of stir fried mung which will be ready in no time.


for 4 servings
100 grams mung/3 cups Moong Sprouts
1 Onion finely chopped
1/2 tsp Ginger grated
5-6 garlic cloves finally chopped
1/2 tsp garam masala
1tsp coriander pd
1/2 tsp red chilli pd n turmeric pd each
Salt to taste
1/2tsp cumin seeds
Pinch of hing(asafoetida)
Small piece of jaggery(optional)
Oil 1 tbsp

Direction
Soak mung overnight .  In the morning rinse it and keep it in a casserole. close the lid. After 6-7 hours (depends upon weather ) you will get nice sprouted mung.

Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, hing, ginger n garlic sauté till the raw aroma goes away.
Add chopped onion sauté till the onion translucent.
Add all dry masale spices jaggery and salt.
Saute and add rinsed moong sprouts.. sauté for two minuts and it is ready to serve. transfer into bowl and garnish as you like.
